July has flown by so fast!! I am finally done with summer classes and am heading back to Arizona for the rest of the summer and couldn't be more excited to get out of the humidity! I'll take the AZ heat over 80% humidity any day! I've tried a few new products over the summer and I loved most of them so much that they have made their way in to my everyday routine.
Swell Stainless Steel Water Bottle // I bought this water bottle a few weeks ago because it was cute, and didn't think I would get much use out of it but I have used it so much!! I took it on two weekend trips and loved it! If you haven't heard of Swell Botttles they can keep cold drinks cold for 24 hours and hot drinks hot for 12 hours. I haven't tried it with anything hot yet but I think the 9oz would be perfect for morning coffee.
Oscar Blandi Dry Shampoo // This is my all time favorite dry shampoo!! I love that's it's a powder formula instead of a spray, I always feel like the sprays leave my hair feeling even more dirty than before. I don't wash my hair every night so on the nights that I don't, I sprinkle a little of this into my roots let it sit and then rub it in and over night the powder will soak up any oils so your hair is fresh and clean in the morning. (I think they are discontinuing it because Nordstrom, Sephora and Ulta no longer have it online but I found it in store at Ulta last week.)
Bumble and Bumble Sunday Shampoo // Since I use the dry shampoo so often I like to use a clarifying shampoo once a week to really clean my hair. This is my favorite one because while it's super clarifying it doesn't leave my hair feeling dry or striped. I like to use it either Sunday night or Monday morning to start the week off with super clean hair.
Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum // This product is AMAZING it does so many different things in just one serum! I originally bought it to get rid of my acne scars and it really has! I wish I had taken before pictures to compare but my skin looks like its getting more clear every day. It has helped to fade my scars older scars slightly but the newer ones are gone completely in just a few days and if I do break out now it helps get rid of the breakout faster. The serum also hydrates your skin, reduces oillness and uneven texture. It is a little pricy but totally worth it for everything that it does.
Donna Karan Cashmere Mist // This is also a little pricey for a deodorant but Oh. My. Goodness. It smells like heaven! It scent stays all day so you don't need to wear perfume or worry if you forgot to put any on.
Laura Mercier Translucent Powder // I've used this powder on and off for years but earlier this summer I started "baking" my makeup and this translucent powder has changed my make up routine. It works flawlessly with any liquid foundation and never leaves a white powdery finish.
Anastasia Beverlyhills Contour Kit // I picked this up after running out of bronzer and I love it! I love all the color options. I use the center contour color and right highlight color if I highlight. I've heard a lot of amazing things about the banana powder (top center) for under the eyes but I haven't tried it yet (I'm afraid that I'm too pale for it) but this contour kit is perfect and comes in a medium to dark color too!
Hope you had a fun Friday! What were some of your favorites this month?
