How to Bake the Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookies

Last week I had to put together a demonstration speech for one of my communications classes, so I chose the topic "How to Bake the Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookies". The cookies turned out so delicious I had to share the recipie with you all! 

The ingredients that you need are:


Cane Sugar

Brown Sugar


Baking Soda



Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips  

The materials that you will need are:

2 Mixing Bowls

Measuring Cups 

Parchment or Wax Paper

Cookie Sheets 

Optional: Hand Mixer or Kitchen Aid

Before you start mixing, you will want to preheat your oven to 375 degrees Farenhite. Then in a small mixing bowl combine:

2 1/2 Cups of Flour 

1 Tsp Baking Soda 

1 Tsp Salt 

In a large mixing bowl combine:

3/4 Cups Brown Sugar 

3/4 Cups Cane Sugar 

1 Tsp Vanilla 

1 Cup or 2 Sticks of Butter

Make sure that the butter is soft enough to mix, but still chilled. Combine the butter and sugar mix until creamy, and then add in 2 eggs, one at a time. 

After all the wet ingredients are combined, slowly add in the flour mixture until everything is combined. Then fold in 2 cups of chocolate chips.

Once all the ingredients are combined, take a about 2 Tbsp of dough and create a ball and place it on the cookie sheet. 

Bake the cookies from 9-11 minutes, or until the edges start to brown. 

Once they are done, let them cool and then enjoy!
